DIY Paper Cup Fairy Light

Spring is coming, do you want to add something new and fresh to your space? Forget spending a fortune on fancy materials or scouring the shops for those hard-to-find bits-and-bobs, this article will introduce a very simple crafty lights DIY project, and it can fabulously brighten up your life.

Things You’ll Need:

  1. Paper Cup
  2. Fairy Lights
  3. Knife

Step 1

Make a small X hole at the bottom of the cup.

Step 2

Push your lights into the hole and secure in place

Step 3

Pop every light into each paper cup and secure in place

Step 4

Turn on the lights to shine. Finish by flicking your new and improved lights on and watch as they fill your room with a warm, cozy glow.

Tip on Choosing Lights:

When choosing your fairy lights for this paper cup project, opt for a string with around 10cm spacing between each LED so your paper cups sit nicely next to each other. We used our warm white lights on clear cable for a soft, cozy glow.
